A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDERS

Both majoring in engineering, we met in our last year of Masters degree at the ESSEC. Alexis’s father, a dentist always hunching over his patients, regularly suffered from back pains. We started to think of a solution to make him feel better. We made our research on back pain, and we realized that back pain affects almost 80% of the world’s population.

We also realized that the existant solutions weren’t great. They were often too complex, limiting movements or - in the case of lumbar belts for example - offering short term relief and atrophying the muscles, therefore not responding to the mechanical problems of the body causing the pain in the first place.

We worked for a year with a team of experts in biomechanics, physiotherapists and osteopaths to develop our first product, the Lyne UP. Some think of it as a t-shirt, simply because it’s worn like a traditional t-shirt, or like a piece of underwear you would wear everyday. This term “t-shirt” really helps to describe the simplicity of the solution, but we also fear it will not reflect fully the complexity of technology integrated in the product itself.

This tensor technology that we developed and patented constitutes the DNA of our product, Lyne UP. It encourages naturally the person wearing it to straighten up, all while enabling a total flexibility of movements and reinforcing the back muscles for long-term relief. This technology has been adapted to each product to better answer your needs. A year of research was necessary to develop each new product of the textile range. We set as a goal to be able to accompany you in all your activities. Each product is made to reduce your back pain, whether you are in the office, working out, or during physical activities such as gardening. We wish to offer solutions that adapt to your daily life to counter the terrible problem that constitutes back pain.

Of course, none of this could have been possible without the help and support of a passionate and dedicated team.
